Episode 001

German doctor Katharina Totz (30) decides to go on a mission with “Doctors Without Borders”. After finishing her studies and working at a German hospital for two years, she now feels ready to face new challenges. Her destination is Bili, a small town in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she is going to support the mobile medical team in it’s efforts to combat the fatal sleeping sickness. Her mission will last nine months during which she has no idea what to expect.
